The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore, together with the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore, and The Keith Campbell Foundation for the Environment recently conducted the 2021 Organizational and Community Needs Assessment Survey. 300 organizations received the 33 question survey in February 2021. 45% completed the survey by March 12.
The organizational and community needs assessment survey was designed to help us determine the Lower Shore’s greatest community needs and the highest priorities for funding, as well as identify possible gaps in services. Additionally, the survey included questions about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our local nonprofit and community organizations, and the level of organizational readiness for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programming.
We are grateful to the Campbell Foundation for funding the survey. The results will be shared with our nonprofit partners later this spring.
