Market Street & Love, Tito’s rally behind respite programs

International liquor company Tito’s Handmade Vodka/ Love, Tito’s and Market Street Inn recently teamed up to give back to Lower Shore families. Through a unique fundraising program hosted at Market Street, Love, Tito’s gave $3,000 to the Brooke Mulford Memorial Fund held at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore. The fund supports Easter Seals Camp Fairlee and Believe in Tomorrow House By The Sea. The fund was created in memory of Brooke Mulford, daughter of Market Street Inn owner Rob Mulford, to support causes that were special to Brooke.

“It is so incredible to have Love, Tito’s helping us give back to the community we love. They have previously helped us on fundraisers for Wicomico Humane Society and US Kennels, and now the Brooke Mulford Memorial Fund,” said Rob Mulford. “I established this fund in 2017 after Brooke passed and have been slowly growing it. With this latest gift our dream has been realized and the fund will now make grants in Brooke’s honor.”

Camp Fairlee offers respite summer camp experiences that provide children’s therapy and exercise programs for those with disabilities. Believe In Tomorrow House by the Sea provides respite housing for families of critically ill children, allowing them the opportunity to escape from the stressful routine of medical treatments at a beach location. Brooke Mulford participated in similar programs during her eight-year battle with pediatric cancer, inspiring Rob Mulford’s support of these local resources.

Giving back has been part of Tito’s Handmade Vodka from the very beginning. United under the goal of “turning spirits into love & goodness,” Love, Tito’s is the philanthropic heart of Tito’s Handmade Vodka. With the help of nonprofit friends and family, Love, Tito’s can continue to give back in more impactful ways and keep spreading the love more and more. With this specific program Market Street Inn & Love, Tito’s donated $1 per Tito’s specialty cocktail purchased from May through September to the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.

“I am so thankful to Love, Tito’s and Stayton Hastings of Breakthru Beverage for making these fundraising opportunities a possibility for us,” says Mulford.
