Metropolitan Magazine President Carol Naarup (r) presents a gift of $11,175 to the publication’s endowed community needs fund at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore. Accepting the gift is Erica Joseph (l) president of the Foundation. Proceeds from a Metropolitan Magazine Best of Party this fall helped raise money for the fund. CFES Community Needs Grants provide support to a broad range of charitable programs. Applicants must be 501c3 nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations providing non-sectarian programs, or eligible programs within government agencies serving citizens on the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland.
