Delmarva Discovery Center Receives $5,800 from Community Foundation's Goslee Youth Initiative

The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore’s Goslee Youth Initiative awarded a $5,800.00 grant to the Delmarva Discovery Center (DDC) to support the organization’s After School Program Partnership with Pocomoke Middle School.

The Goslee Youth Initiative was created in honor of Gladys Goslee, a long-time Friend of the Community Foundation, who passed away late last year. Gladys was an ardent supporter of area youth having taught for over 40 years and who continued to serve as a mentor following her retirement from education. For information about the 2015 Goslee Youth Initiative program, visit www.cfes.org or call 410-742-9911.

The Delmarva Discovery Center on the Pocomoke River serves as a source of learning and discovery for the public through the preservation and interpretation of its cultural and natural heritage. Visit www.delmarvadiscoverycenter.org for more information.
