A free community event for Veterans and their families will be hosted at the Ocean Pines Library Friday May 13th from 11 am to 2 pm. The event aims to connect veterans and their families with veteran support services, housing, employment, and transportation services, as well as provide connections with a variety of nonprofits and agencies which provide support to veterans.
This is event is sponsored by The Lower Shore Veterans Network and is a partnership between various individuals, nonprofits, federal, state, and local county agencies. The Lower Shore Veterans Network is hosted at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore. Public meetings are the second Monday of every month at 10:00 am.
