Software Transition

This page will provide updates on the software transition occurring at the Foundation.


We are excided to announce a change and major upgrade to the software platform used at the Community Foundation.  Since 1998 we have used software called FIMS, which has been used by most Community Foundations.  In August 2022 we began a transition to Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge, along with additional tools from NPact.


While the outcome will be enhanced services for fund holders and greater efficiency for CFES operations, there will be a period of transition.  

What is the current status?

Currently, online access to your fund is not available. Our vendor is working as quickly as possible to implement the new online portal. Until then, you may submit grant requests or obtain information by using any of the methods below:

Grant Recommendations or Requests

  1. Donor Advisors may complete the Donor Recommendation Form

  2. You may send an e-mail with your recommendation (amount of grant, name of nonprofit, name of your fund) to donorservices@cfes.org.

Fund Information (Balances, Gifts Received, Grants Made, Statements, etc.)
