What Others Say:
I feel that the foundation has helped my organization in the past. If it was not for the grants we received the progress we have made would have not happened.

What You May Give

Donations to the Community Foundation are accepted from individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofit organizations, foundations, government agencies, and other entities.

Gifts may be accepted to establish charitable funds at the Foundation from any of the following:
  • Cash
  • Stocks
  • Bonds
  • Life Insurance
  • Real Property -- Homes, Farms, Undeveloped Properties, Commercial Properties, 2nd Residences, Condominiums, Town Homes
  • Personal Property -- Artwork, Jewelry, Boats, Furniture, Equipment
Many of the types of gifts listed above may be appreciated assets. Gifts of appreciated assets are an advantage to the donor because they result in a tax deduction for the “full market value” of the asset. The donor is not taxed on any of the appreciation the property has gained since purchase.

For more information on any of the above options for making gifts to the Community Foundation contact Erica Joseph, the Foundation's Program & Development Director, at 410-742-9911, or send an email to: ejoseph@cfes.org.
