Three Students Earn Eastern Shore Building Industry Association Scholarships
Community Foundation Fund awards $1,500 to students

Board Members of the Eastern Shore Building Industry Association, Colleen Deptula, John Kotoski, and Mike Poole, present $500 each to 2010 Scholarship recipients, Lauren Albresch, Kelly Mulholland, and Zachary Long.  Graduating seniors from the Eastern Shore of Maryland Counties of Kent, Queen Anne’s, Caroline, Talbot, Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester are eligible to apply for 2011.

The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore has announced $1,500 in scholarship awards for the 2010-11 academic year to three graduating seniors from the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
 
The annual awards are made from the Eastern Shore Building Industry Association Scholarship Fund, one of 89 scholarship funds administered by the Community Foundation.
 
The scholarship fund was established by the Eastern Shore Building Industry Association to provide Scholarships for high school students who are graduating from public or private schools on the Eastern Shore who plan to pursue a degree in architecture, engineering, or a construction related field.
 
The three students awarded Eastern Shore Building Association Scholarships this year are:
  • Lauren Abresch, Delmar, MD, will attend Catholic University;       
  • Kelly Mulholland, of Bishopville, will attend University of MD, College Park;
  • Zachary Long, of Crisfield, will attend University of MD, Eastern Shore.
