Technical Mini Grant Deadline Announced
Lower Shore nonprofits may apply for grants up to $1,000

The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore
announces that it is offering mini grants up to $1,000 through its Technical Mini
Grants Program and local nonprofit organizations are urged to apply. The deadline is January 20, 2011 with grants
being awarded in February, 2011.
The
purpose of the Technical Mini Grants Program is to provide grants for
individual nonprofit agencies for organizational development, equipment
purchases, staff development trainings or other resources necessary to enhance
their mission. Generally, grants range from $100 up to a maximum of $1,000 per
nonprofit organization.
These
competitive grants are awarded to benefit organizations serving Somerset,
Wicomico and Worcester Counties at least twice each year through Community
Foundation’s Nonprofit Support Program. Technical
Mini Grants are awarded to a wide range of nonprofit organizations that benefit
health and human services, education, arts and culture, community affairs,
environmental conservation and historic preservation.
