What Others Say:
Thank you for choosing me as one of the students to receive the Elizabeth Brittingham Pusey Scholarship! I am very honored to receive such a prestigious award and grateful for the much needed financial aid toward my hefty college tuition. Please continue to assist the up-and-coming youth of the Eastern Shore in this way. Know that it is greatly appreciated!

ShoreCAN Volunteer Center Kicks Off Summer Stars Program
Volunteers Urged to Help Make a Difference
July 7, 2011
The ShoreCAN Volunteer
Center urges citizens who are interested in volunteering this summer to sign up
with their favorite organization and become a STAR Volunteer!
Between June 15 and September 15, simply
volunteer for a total of thirty hours with one of our partnering organizations. You’ll be eligible to win a variety of prizes
including gift certificates to local retail stores, restaurants and
entertainment such as movies and mini-golf!
Visit www.shorecan.org to select from over 100
nonprofit volunteer opportunities available to you this summer! We can help you find a wide range of
opportunities. Children, 13 years and
older, are encouraged to participate in this fun family summer activity.
Tracking and reporting of
volunteer hours must be completed by the volunteer on an official ShoreCAN
Summer Stars form and turned in monthly.
All reports are due to ShoreCAN by September 30, 2011. All hours will be confirmed by our partnering
organizations and volunteers must meet the requirements of the respective
agency.
Volunteers who meet the
thirty hour requirement during this time period will be entered into a separate
grand prize drawing for a $100 value LORA Dining Gift Card! All volunteers will also be invited to a
Summer STARS Recognition Ceremony in October.

information, visit the ShoreCAN website at www.shorecan.org
