Nonprofits to Learn Human Resources Best Practices
March 22, 2010
Nonprofit organizations from Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore will have an opportunity to learn about effective practices when dealing with human resources issues at a workshop sponsored by the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore on Wednesday, April 7th.

The training program will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Foundation’s Nonprofit Support Center in Salisbury.  Registration is required at $10 per person on a first-come, first-served basis.  Light refreshments will be provided.

Tonya Plylar, director of Business Solutions for ISG International, will lead the human resources training designed specifically to meet the needs of nonprofit organizations.  The training will help nonprofit organizations become aware of current best practices for human resources issues.

This is one of a series of training sessions offered by the Community Foundation that are sponsored by PNC Bank.  Anyone wishing to register for the “Effective Human Resources” workshop should contact the Foundation at 410-742-9911.
