Foundation Sponsors Nonprofit Resource Day

The Community Foundation’s Eastern Shore Nonprofit Resource Center will be the site of a "Nonprofit Resource Day" on Wednesday, January 20th, to enable charitable organizations in the region the opportunity to focus on social media and fundraising effectiveness.
 
The Resource Day is made possible through a partnership between the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore and Wor-Wic Community College. The event will feature a series of seminars that will cover a variety of topics to benefit the nonprofit organizations that serve Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester CountiesRegistration is $25 on a first-come, first-served basis.  The seminars begin at 10 a.m., include lunch and will conclude at 2 p.m.
 
This year’s program will feature Hank Lewis, a well-known expert in fund raising for nonprofit organizations, and Dr. Ira Wolfe, a marketing consultant who will lead the session on using social media for nonprofits. PNC Bank sponsors the Foundation's series of seminars and workshops for nonprofits in this region.
