What Others Say:
"The ShoreCAN Volunteer Center was able to help Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lower Eastern Shore place two children on our waiting list with volunteer mentors this month! I wish I could show the big smiles and excitement I saw when they met their new friend for the first time!"

Developmental Center thanks Community Foundation
December 17, 2007
The
Worcester
County
Developmental
Center presented appreciation plaques to the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (CFES) and to Royal Plus, Inc., at a reception to celebrate the opening of the new temporary training facilities that will serve developmentally disabled clients in place of the building that was destroyed by fire in September. A Community Foundation sponsored Emergency Fund raised over $150,000 to help the
Developmental
Center re-open. Royal Plus provided the remodeling and use of a building they own in Snow Hill. Pictured (l to r) are: Michael Megary, President of the Developmental Center’s Board; Spicer Bell, CFES President; June Walker, Developmental Center Executive Director; and Matt Odachowski, president of Royal Plus.
