CFES Awards Two Grants Totaling $14,862 to Go-Getters, Inc.

CFES distributed two grant checks totaling $14,862.00 from the Foundation’s Community Needs Grants Program to Go-Getters, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides support to people recovering from severe mental illness.  The funds will provide security deposits for clients with their transition to independent living process.  In addition, the funds will help promote the organization’s Community Closet Outreach program that provides assistive devices such as wheelchairs, canes and walkers to clients. The funds will provide security deposits for members during their transition to independent living process.  In addition, the funds will help promote the organization’s Community Closet OutreachProgram that provides assistive devices such as wheelchairs, canes and walkers for members.
 
Go-Getters, Inc. is a psychiatric rehabilitation program that provides such services as day programs, outreach teams, supported housing and community training and assistance.  Go-Getters, Inc. serves the Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Counties.
