$25,000 Partnership Prize to be awarded at Jubilee

The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore will announce its 25th Anniversary Partnership Prize at the Foundation’s Spring Jubilee on Friday, May 8th at the
Fountains
Conference
Center in
Salisbury .
The Partnership Prize is an award of $25,000 to a local nonprofit organization that has demonstrated and promoted collaboration among nonprofit organizations serving
Maryland ’s
Lower Eastern Shore . Funded through the Foundation’s Community Initiative Grant Program, this special anniversary prize seeks to inspire nonprofit leaders to collaborate with similar organizations that would typically compete for clients and resources.
The Partnership Prize award must be used by the nonprofit organization for charitable purposes to improve the community. The public is invited to attend the Foundation’s 25th Anniversary Jubilee to witness this very special award and celebrate the Foundation’s 25 years of service to the community. Tickets for the Jubilee are $50 per person. Online registration and payment for the event is available at the Foundation’s website at cfes.org, or by phone at 410-742-9911.
This is an important benchmark in the life of the Community Foundation and will be celebrated with a festive evening of outstanding friendship, food and dancing. The 25th Jubilee begins at 6:30 p.m. with a complementary social hour, followed by dinner. After a brief program and the awarding of the $25,000 Partnership Prize, the celebration continues with dancing to the Rock & Roll Revue, a band of exceptional reputation from
Gaithersburg ,
MD.
