The Women’s Fund is a permanent endowment fund created through the power of collective philanthropy. Lower Shore Land Trust received a Community Needs Grant to support efforts to increase the public’s awareness regarding land preservation on the Eastern Shore. During LSLT’s 21 years of operation, landowners have been assisted in preserving over 16,000 acres of land on 94 private properties throughout the Lower Eastern Shore.
